Greenlandic politician Tillie Martinussen wasn’t “confused.” She was warning the world.
“Be rich like Americans? Look how greedy they are. They’ll even invade their friends.”
She said even if Greenland has oil and minerals, they still won’t be bought, because they’ve watched what America did to Indigenous people: take the land, strip the rights, call it progress.
And she went there:
“Trump surrounds himself with white power people… we are of color… our rights would probably be taken away.”
That’s not a negotiation.
That’s a hard no, with receipts.
