Missing nuke official becomes TENTH person tied to dark pattern surrounding US secrets…

The disappearance of high-level nuclear contractor Steven Garcia has fueled fears of a foreign intelligence plot targeting U.S. national security experts, marking the tenth mysterious case of a missing or deceased scientist in recent years.

The disappearance of Steven Garcia, a high-level government contractor for the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) with top security clearance, has intensified national security concerns as he becomes the latest in a growing list of individuals linked to U.S. nuclear and space secrets to vanish or die under mysterious circumstances. Garcia, a 48-year-old property custodian overseeing millions in sensitive assets, disappeared from his Albuquerque home on August 28, 2025, mirroring the cases of several other New Mexico-based officials including retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland who walked away from their lives carrying only a firearm and leaving behind all personal belongings.

While local authorities suggested Garcia “may be a danger to himself,” anonymous sources and former FBI officials have challenged this narrative, pointing instead to a potential campaign by foreign intelligence services, with former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker noting, “Our scientists have been targeted for a long time, especially in the rocket propulsion area, by hostile foreign intelligence services.” As the number of missing or deceased scientists with ties to vital defense and NASA projects reaches ten, experts are increasingly wary of a coordinated effort against the American nuclear program, with Swecker warning, “I think we’ve even seen instances where nuclear scientists have been taken out. They’ve been assassinated.”
