Jason Kuhlman, the principal at Liam Conejo Ramos’ school, became emotional after seeing a picture of his 5-year-old student being held by his father after they were both detained by federal agents in their driveway as Liam returned from preschool.
“Thinking about a 5-year-old, what he’s already went through. Thinking about his mom. Seeing that he was knocking on that door and mom could not open it,” Kuhlman told CBS News’ @lilialuciano .
Kuhlman described Liam as a “normal, happy 5-year-old” with a lively personality, noting his signature rabbit hat and how “the little ears flop” as he walks through the school.
