US President Donald Trump refuses to delve into what his message to Iranian protesters meant, after telling them “help is on the way” in a Truth Social post earlier today.

“How many protesters have been killed in Iran?”
Trump:
“Nobody has been able to give me an accurate number. Everything is a lot. One is a lot. We will probably find out in the next 24 hours. I think it is a lot.”
Reporter:
“You said to Iran that help is on the way. What kind of help?”
Trump:
“You are going to have to figure that out. I’m sorry.”
