Tamara Hancock, the Arizona customer whose syrup bottle was destroyed, shared footage of the delivery with over 1.1 million viewers, questioning if the speed is worth the inevitable damage to fragile goods. Other users on TikTok have captured drones hovering over concrete driveways instead of grass, with the powerful propellers blowing previously delivered mail into the street.

Amazon apologized for the incidents in a statement to The Post, characterizing them as “rare instances” that do not reflect the overall positive response from Prime Air users. The company emphasized that they use “purpose-built packaging” engineered to withstand the final drop and are using these “learnings” to improve the system. Despite these assurances, outraged onlookers have flooded social media with criticism, arguing that hurling packages from mid-air is an unacceptable trade-off for faster shipping times.
