A merger between SpaceX and xAI has lifted Elon Musk’s net worth to an estimated $852 billion, placing him far ahead of all other billionaires worldwide.
Elon Musk has become the world’s richest individual by a historic margin after SpaceX acquired artificial intelligence and social media firm xAI, pushing his net worth to about $852 billion, according to Forbes estimates. The deal values the combined entity at roughly $1.25 trillion and added about $84 billion to Musk’s fortune.
Following the merger, Musk is estimated to own about 43% of the combined SpaceX–xAI company, a stake valued at roughly $542 billion. He also holds major interests in Tesla, with shares and stock options together worth more than $300 billion, further widening his lead over other global billionaires.
