Russia just put out a statement basically admitting something big went down:
âWe hope that the United States and Israel will preserve the security of the Bushehr nuclear power plant.â
No direct mention of attacks, but coming right after reports of massive Israeli/US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, this is Moscow quietly confirming the hits while trying to de-escalate.
Bushehr is Iranâs only operating nuclear power reactor (Russian-built, ironically).
If it got damaged or threatened, we’d be looking at Chernobyl-level fallout risks.
Putin playing both sides: backing Tehran rhetorically but signaling “don’t go too far” to Washington/Jerusalem.
