President Trump launched his Board of Peace in Davos, Switzerland on Thursday – without key European allies.
While Trump said it would work with the United Nations to ensure peace in the Middle East and hinted at wider ambitions, some countries still opted not to be part of the newly formed board. Some critics said it’s a pay-to-play club because of a $1 billion fee for a permanent seat.
