Video shows Greg Bovino, the Border Patrol leader behind President Donald Trump’s aggressive immigration crackdown across the U.S., warning protesters on a snowy Minneapolis street “Gas is coming!” before deploying a canister into the crowd that released green smoke Wednesday.
Minnesota is a major focus of immigration sweeps by agencies under the Department of Homeland Security and is where Renee Good was fatally shot by an ICE officer on Jan. 7. The Justice Department served subpoenas to state and local Democratic officials in Minnesota in connection with a probe into an alleged conspiracy to impede federal immigration officers.
