Former President Joe Biden delivered one of his sharpest attacks yet on Donald Trump, blasting his “vanity projects” and alleged corruption at a Maryland Democratic fundraiser.
Joe Biden isn’t holding back anymore.
Rallying Democrats at a Maryland gala on Saturday night, the former president tore into Donald Trump’s tenure, mocking his “vanity projects” — from tearing down the White House’s East Wing for a ballroom to hiring “his own pool guy” to fix the reflecting pool.
“What a loser,” Biden quipped, according to CNN.
He didn’t stop there, accusing Trump of “brazen, blatant corruption” on a scale “never seen before in American history.”
The fiery 10-minute speech came exactly two years after Biden’s disastrous CNN debate with Trump — the moment that derailed his re-election bid.
Biden also slammed plans to compensate January 6 rioters, insisting they “deserve to be put in jail.”
He closed with a rallying cry: “Get up, dammit. Continue this fight!”
