Daniel Siad, a French model recruiter who connected young women to Jeffrey Epstein for over a decade, has been found dead at his home near Paris, cutting short an ongoing criminal probe into his role.

Siad’s body was discovered Monday in Colombes, a Paris suburb, according to a CNN report by Kara Fox and Pierre Bairin, citing a statement from deputy public prosecutor Marie-Céline Lawrysz. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
Siad had recently told CNN he had no reason to believe two women he referred to Epstein were harmed, insisting he believed Epstein was a legitimate casting figure. CNN found no evidence supporting that claim.
Paris prosecutors said their broader Epstein investigation, covering 24 women who have come forward, will continue despite Siad’s death. Officials said phone intercepts and other investigative techniques had not yet produced grounds for his arrest.
DOJ files show Siad’s name appears more than 2,000 times in Epstein-related documents, and one accuser, Svetlana Pozhidaeva, said his death robbed her of the chance to see accountability through investigation.
