US embassies across the Middle East have advised American citizens to remain alert and prepared to leave the region if security conditions worsen amid escalating tensions with Iran.
Be Ready to Leave — US Embassies Warn Citizens in Middle East Amid Iran Tensions
The warning signs are flashing across the region. Per Daily Post Nigeria, identical security alerts from US embassies in Jerusalem and other Middle Eastern capitals described the security environment as “complex,” warning that sudden escalation could occur without notice.
The advisories accused Iran of carrying out attacks without prior warning and expanding operations to new locations, including Egypt, calling the Iranian government’s actions unpredictable. Americans outside the region were urged to reconsider non-essential travel and monitor airport operations closely for possible disruptions.
Despite the alerts, the embassies confirmed they remain open and continue providing routine consular and visa services.
