Singapore has retained its position as the world’s most powerful passport for 2026, offering visa-free travel to 192 destinations, according to the Henley Passport Index released Tuesday. Japan and South Korea rank second with access to 188 destinations, while Denmark, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland share third place with 186. Malaysia is ninth, granting access to 180 countries, just ahead of the United States at tenth with 179. The index, based on International Air Transport Association data, ranks 199 passports by visa-free access.
