Dropsite News reported that senior U.S. military officials have informed a key Middle Eastern ally that President Trump could authorize an attack on Iran this weekend, with operations possibly beginning Sunday if approved. Two senior Arab intelligence officials also confirmed receiving information about a potential U.S. strike.
A former senior U.S. intelligence official told Dropsite News, “This is not about nuclear weapons or a missile program… This is about regime change.” He said planners are considering strikes on nuclear, ballistic, and military sites, adding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu believes such an attack could help bring a pro-Western government to power.
