President Donald Trump says he will sue Trevor Noah after the Grammys host joked about Epstein, which Trump called false and defamatory.
U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to sue comedian Trevor Noah over jokes made during the 68th Grammy Awards on Sunday. Hosting the ceremony, Noah quipped that Trump wanted Greenland “since Epstein’s gone,” prompting backlash from the president on social media.
Responding on Truth Social, Trump said, “I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island,” calling the joke “false and defamatory.” He vowed to send lawyers after Noah, whom he described as “a total loser,” while reiterating that he cut ties with Jeffrey Epstein in 2007.
