Trump says there will be no deal except ‘unconditional surrender’…

US President Donald Trump has said the war with Iran will only end if Tehran agrees to an “unconditional surrender,” warning there will be no deal otherwise.

US President Donald Trump has declared that there will be no agreement to end the ongoing war with Iran unless the country accepts an “unconditional surrender.” In a social media post on Friday, Trump said the United States and its allies would help rebuild Iran’s economy after a surrender and the selection of a new leader to replace Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in earlier US-Israeli airstrikes.

The statement triggered market reactions, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling more than 900 points while global oil prices surged past $90 per barrel. Meanwhile, Qatar’s Energy Minister, Saad al-Kaabi, warned that escalating tensions and rising oil prices could severely impact the global economy if disruptions occur in the Strait of Hormuz.
