US Central Command has dismissed claims by Iranian official Ali Larijani that Iran captured several American soldiers during the ongoing conflict, describing the allegation as “lies and deception.”
Larijani had said on social media that U.S. troops were taken prisoner during Operation Epic Fury and that Washington falsely reported them as killed. The U.S. military rejected the claim, accusing Iran of spreading misinformation amid rising tensions in the regional war.
