Jury finds top NY real estate broker brothers guilty of sex trafficking

A Manhattan federal jury has convicted the Alexander brothers, including two top New York real estate brokers, of sex trafficking after a trial involving testimony from multiple alleged victims.

Prosecutors argued the brothers “used a consistent playbook to lure, isolate and rape their victims,” while defense lawyers insisted the encounters were consensual despite acknowledging crude behavior.

Manhattan U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton said the verdict “cannot undo the effects of heinous abuse… but it does send a message.” One defense attorney said they disagreed with the ruling and planned to appeal.

Three wealthy brothers, including two prominent New York real estate brokers, were convicted Monday in a high-profile sex trafficking trial after prosecutors said they lured women and girls to exclusive parties where they were drugged and raped.

A federal jury in Manhattan found Oren Alexander, Tal Alexander and Alon Alexander guilty following a six-week trial in which 11 women testified about alleged abuse.
