Man found not guilty by reason of insanity in random killing of woman and her unborn child

Man who randomly shot and killed a woman and her unborn child, found not guilty because he was “insane at the time of the shooting.”

Cordell Goosby admitted to killing Eina Kwon who was 8 months pregnant.

There was reportedly zero interaction between Goosby, who used a stolen gun, and the victim before the incident.

Kwon was shot multiple times and was rushed into emergency surgery. Sadly, she and the baby died.

Goosby will now be committed to a state psychiatric hospital.

“Goosby will be evaluated by the Department of Social and Health Services, which operates Western State Hospital,” reported King 5 News.

“In the event that the department decides he can receive further privileges or potentially be released, King County Superior Court and prosecutors will be notified and can object.”
