A handcuffed woman escaped from a police cruiser in Michigan by squeezing through a rear window and fleeing before officers realised she was gone.
A handcuffed woman made a dramatic escape from a police car in Muskegon Heights, Michigan, after squeezing through the rear window of a patrol vehicle. Footage shows the suspect, dressed in black, peering through the half-rolled-down window before forcing her body through and jumping out of the vehicle while officers were distracted nearby.
Despite having her hands cuffed behind her back, the woman managed to land on her feet before sprinting away. Officers only realised she had vanished moments later when one tapped on the rear window, prompting an immediate search for the missing suspect.
Police said the woman had been arrested after officers found a suspicious vehicle near an abandoned business and later discovered she had an outstanding parole violation. Authorities confirmed she now faces additional charges including escape and fleeing an officer, while investigators are also probing a possible home invasion reported shortly after the incident.
