U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested more than 800 people based on tips shared by federal airport security officials between the start of Donald Trump’s presidency and February 2026, according to internal ICE data reviewed by Reuters. That figure is far above what was previously known to the public.
The leads originated from the Transportation Security Administration, which supplied ICE with records on more than 31,000 travelers for potential immigration enforcement, the data showed.
