Former Stormy Daniels lawyer, Michael Avenatti has been released from prison after four years but will remain under supervision in a halfway house while fulfilling restitution and treatment requirements.
Michael Avenatti, the outspoken attorney who represented Stormy Daniels in her legal battle against Donald Trump, has been released from prison after serving about four years of an 11-year, three-month sentence. He was convicted of multiple offenses, including a $20 million extortion scheme and stealing $300,000 from Daniels.
Despite his release, Avenatti is not fully free, as he has been ordered to reside in a halfway house in Hollywood while undergoing mental health treatment and avoiding unlawful substances. Authorities also mandated restitution totaling $5,937,725.58, with his projected release date set for September 2028, marking continued legal supervision following his high-profile downfall.
