A 22-year-old Indian medical student built and operated an AI-generated Instagram influencer named “Emily Hart” who posed as a blonde MAGA supporter, amassing millions of views and thousands of dollars monthly before the account was banned for fraudulent activity.

An Indian medical student has been revealed as the creator of a popular AI-generated Instagram influencer who posed as a blonde MAGA supporter named “Emily Hart,” according to a WIRED report cited by the Times of India. The 22-year-old aspiring orthopedic surgeon, who used the pseudonym Sam, said he built the persona while struggling financially and seeking to monetize conservative audiences.
“I was spending maybe 30 to 50 minutes of my day, and I was making good money for a medical student,” he told WIRED, adding that the operation generated thousands of dollars monthly. The account, which posted pro-Trump, pro-Christian, and anti-immigration content, gained over 10,000 followers within a month before Instagram removed it in February for “fraudulent” activity.
Sam defended his actions, saying, “I don’t feel like I was scamming people.”
