Iran issues ultimatum to US through Pakistan as diplomatic push intensifies

VIA IRAN INT’L:

Iran has submitted a peace proposal to Pakistan as mediator and warned the US to choose between diplomacy and confrontation, as Tehran’s deputy foreign minister briefed foreign ambassadors in Tehran on the plan.

Iran is pressing Washington to make a decisive choice.

Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi briefed foreign ambassadors in Tehran on Saturday, revealing that Iran had submitted a peace plan to Pakistan as mediator. “The ball is in America’s court to choose the path of diplomacy or the continuation of a confrontational approach,” he said.

Gharibabadi stressed Iran remained prepared for both outcomes, while maintaining what he called “pessimism and mistrust” toward Washington’s sincerity. Before the wider briefing, the ambassadors of China and Russia held a separate trilateral meeting with him — signaling coordinated diplomatic positioning ahead of any potential negotiations.
