The Trump White House has launched a sweeping investigation into former President Joe Biden’s use of the autopen signing device, with officials reviewing over one million documents to determine whether unelected staffers improperly exercised presidential authority.
According to Fox News, the White House Counsel’s Office, coordinating with the Justice Department, is investigating former President Joe Biden’s use of the autopen, with the National Archives already providing more than 27,000 records and officials expecting to review upward of one million documents.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “Joe Biden was the worst, most incompetent, and senile president in our country’s history. It has been widely reported that Joe Biden handed the power of the presidency to an autopen controlled by unelected leftist staffers, who were allowed to make terrible decisions that destroyed our country.”
One senior official questioned: “Did unelected staffers, radical staffers, use the power of this machine to radically transform America?”
Fox News noted Biden used the autopen to sign preemptive pardons for family members, Dr. Anthony Fauci and General Mark Milley. Biden defended his actions, telling the New York Times he “made every decision” on his own.
