Meta has unveiled a new AI-powered Business Agent designed to help companies serve customers around the clock, according to a report by TheCable. Announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg at the Meta Conversations event in London, the tool can answer customer questions, handle sales, and seamlessly transfer chats to human staff when needed.
The AI agent also generates daily business reports, helps users discover businesses more easily on WhatsApp, and integrates with over 150 platforms, including Shopify, Salesforce and Google Calendar. Customers can even complete purchases without leaving WhatsApp. Another standout feature is voice-note support, allowing businesses and customers to communicate naturally through spoken messages. Meta says the Business Agent is now available globally.
