Two U.S. service members were killed while helping defend against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks in Jordan, CENTCOM says.
A third American service member is currently listed as missing in action. Four others were medically evacuated, treated, and have since returned from Jordanian hospitals.
CENTCOM says it is withholding the identities of the fallen until their families have been notified.
