No Talks, More Strikes
The US and Iran show no signs of slowing down. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Washington has “no interest” in talks with Tehran “for now,” even as he hinted at further escalation near Iran’s uranium enrichment sites, according to Euronews.
The US military confirmed it struck Iranian military assets for an 11th consecutive night, targeting operations centers, aircraft hangars, and drone facilities. Iran has retaliated by hitting US allies in Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait, and claimed a tanker attack in the Strait of Hormuz. Brent crude hit $92 a barrel.
Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth told the Senate the war has cost the US $37.5 billion so far, up from $29 billion in May, while requesting $67 billion more.
