Amidst all the talk of Iran’s elite military forces and nuclear program, you might be surprised to learn that one of the primary focuses for both the U.S. and Israel now is something as seemingly low-tech as trucks. The U.S. and Israeli militaries say Iran has been using these vehicles as mobile missile launchers, to try to evade detection —mirroring a tactic that has also been employed by Ukraine in its war with Russia.
CBS News’ @CBSMATTGUTMAN , who is on the ground in Israel, explains how targeting Iran’s mobile launchers is key to limiting the number of missiles they can launch throughout the Middle East: “You can have a million missiles, but if you don’t have a way to launch them, they’re meaningless.”
