Britons are being warned to check Foreign Office advice before booking trips abroad.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has issued a stark warning to British travelers, advising against travel to 52 countries and territories due to escalating security concerns.
The FCDO currently advises against all travel to 14 countries, citing war, terrorism, political unrest and security risks. These nations include Iran, Russia, Israel, Syria and Yemen.
An additional 38 countries are subject to partial “no-go” zones, where specific regions or areas are deemed too dangerous for British nationals to visit. Officials are urging travelers to check the latest Foreign Office guidance before booking any trips abroad.
