Celine Dion has announced her return to live performances with a 10-show residency in Paris starting September 2026 after battling Stiff Person Syndrome.
Canadian singer Celine Dion has announced she will return to the stage with a series of performances in Paris beginning in September 2026 after years away due to a rare neurological disorder. The 58-year-old made the announcement on her birthday, describing the opportunity to perform again as “the best gift” she could receive.
Dion revealed in a social media video that she will perform 10 shows over five weeks at the Paris La Défense Arena starting September 12. “This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again,” she said, adding, “I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good.”
The singer disclosed in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, an incurable autoimmune disorder that forced her to cancel performances. Despite the condition, Dion vowed to return to the stage, telling reporters in 2024, “I’m not dead,” while thanking fans for their support during her recovery.
