President Trump said the offer he received from Iranian officials to reach a lasting peace deal was “not enough,” and called off Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s trip to Islamabad on Saturday as he awaits another call about a deal.
“We’re not going to be traveling 15, 16 hours to have a meeting with people that nobody ever heard of,” he told reporters before boarding Air Force One. When asked what made him decide to cancel, Trump said, “too much travel.”
