China’s cyberspace administrator has launched a four-month, two-phased campaign targeting AI malpractice, including weak security reviews, “AI data poisoning,” unregistered models, and inadequate labelling of AI-generated content. Authorities will also crack down on false information, “violent and vulgar” material, impersonation, and content harmful to minors.
