Rep. Thomas Massie has alleged that President Donald Trump vetoed a Colorado water project in retaliation against Lauren Boebert for refusing to abandon efforts to release Jeffrey Epstein-related files.
President Donald Trump allegedly vetoed a Colorado water infrastructure bill after Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert refused White House pressure to back away from efforts to release Jeffrey Epstein files, according to Daily Mail.
Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie made the claim during an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s podcast, alleging Boebert was summoned to the Situation Room in November and urged to remove her support for a discharge petition seeking the release of the Epstein documents. Massie claimed Boebert refused to comply.
According to Daily Mail, Trump later vetoed the Arkansas Valley Conduit Act, a project intended to provide water infrastructure to communities in southeastern Colorado, including parts of Boebert’s district.
“Why are people in Colorado deprived of water? Because their representative wants to expose a sex trafficking ring,” Massie said. Carlson responded: “None of this makes any sense at all.”
