A new study suggests that regular engagement in arts and cultural activities, such as visiting museums or attending concerts, is associated with slower biological aging. The research analyzed over 3,500 UK adults, finding that those who frequently participated in these activities showed DNA-based signs of aging slower than non-participants. This association was comparable to the effect of physical activity. The findings held true even after considering lifestyle factors, though the study design does not prove causation.
