Isa Pantami, former communications minister, has switched to the PDP and clinched the party’s governorship ticket for Gombe State, according to TheCable.
At the PDP primary in Gombe on Tuesday, he was affirmed as flagbearer after polling tens of thousands of votes across the three senatorial districts. He said he entered the race to serve the people of Gombe, pledging fairness, justice and development if elected in 2027.
