Commanders tell troops Trump ‘anointed by Jesus’ to start Iran war…

A nonprofit U.S. military watchdog said it has received hundreds of complaints about commanders providing religious reasons for starting the Iran war

A nonprofit military watchdog, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), says it has received more than 110 complaints from US service members alleging that some commanders framed the Iran war in religious terms. According to reports, troops claimed briefings referenced biblical prophecy and described President Donald Trump as divinely chosen in the context of the conflict, prompting concerns about morale and constitutional obligations within the ranks.

MRFF president Mikey Weinstein said the organization has been inundated with messages from personnel across multiple branches and installations who argue such remarks undermine unit cohesion. The Pentagon has not publicly addressed the claims, which emerge amid ongoing US military operations in Iran.
