Newly released Pentagon and FBI UFO files contain witness accounts of alleged alien encounters and unexplained aerial sightings spanning several decades.
Newly declassified Pentagon files have revealed witness claims of mysterious humanoid beings linked to UFO sightings dating back decades.
Among the documents released Friday was a 1966 FBI memo titled “Unidentified Flying Objects,” which stated that “1965 was the year of the greatest number of UFO sightings.” The memo cited witnesses who claimed they saw “crewmen” emerging from strange objects, describing them as “three and a half to four feet tall, wearing what appear to be space suits and helmets.”
The files also referenced claims that UFOs travelled silently at “fantastic speeds” and hovered motionless before disappearing. Officials released 162 documents, including photographs, videos and intelligence reports.
Authorities, however, stressed that the records contain unverified witness accounts and do not confirm extraterrestrial life or alien contact.
