Nearly four years on the run… and the search ended in Somalia.
Federal authorities say they’ve captured Abdikerm Eidleh, an alleged central player in the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud scheme that exploited a program meant to feed children during the pandemic.
Prosecutors accuse him of helping organize sham food sites and fake vendors that pocketed millions in federal funds.
The DOJ says his arrest proves fleeing overseas won’t put fraud suspects out of reach.
“We will continue working every single day to wipe out fraud across the country,” FBI Director Kash Patel said.
