Former US Attorney General Pam Bondi has revealed she’s battling thyroid cancer.
According to CNN, Bondi said she was diagnosed after leaving the Justice Department in April and has already undergone surgery.
The 60-year-old said she is currently receiving treatment and is “doing well, though.”
Bondi’s diagnosis comes just weeks after her dramatic exit from President Donald Trump’s administration, where she faced heavy criticism over the handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files.
Despite the health battle, Bondi is still expected to testify before the House Oversight Committee this week as investigations surrounding the Epstein documents continue to generate political heat in Washington.
