Precious Bland is responding to critics after she was found not guilty by reason of insanity after she drowned her baby in a bathtub.
“My response to the comments is everybody needs grace, and what happened to me could happen to anybody, including those people who made those comments.”
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has since responded to the ruling, saying his office will be drafting articles of impeachment against the judge.
“It’s time to impeach this judge. My office will be drafting articles of impeachment, and we look forward to working with all legislators who will support,” Uthmeier said.
