International affairs expert Howard Stoffer, a former U.S. government official, warned that the younger Netanyahu is a “target” for kidnapping or attack and described his continued presence in Florida as “foolish” unless he is under rigorous protection by Israeli intelligence services like Shin Bet.
While Yair is reportedly engaged in “non-profit charity work” in the United States, his absence from the front lines has drawn sharp criticism from fellow countrymen, as approximately 360,000 Israeli reservists have been mobilized to serve in the war.
