More than five months after Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Tucson, Arizona, home, investigators are chasing a dramatic new lead.
According to The Daily Beast, a Mexican missing persons group received an anonymous tip claiming Guthrie may be buried in an unmarked grave near the U.S.-Mexico border.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Office says it is aware of the report but has not been contacted by Mexican authorities. Officials stressed that the investigation remains active and that every credible lead will be examined.
Initial searches reportedly found no evidence, but efforts continue. Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings are still offering a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy’s recovery or an arrest. The case remains unsolved, with investigators pursuing every possible clue.
