Police confirmed the incident occurred near Berlin’s Tiergarten park, prompting a large-scale emergency response and the cancellation of the remainder of the parade, according to The Independent.
Emergency crews treated multiple victims at the scene while police launched an intensive search for the driver, authorities said. Organizers urged attendees to leave the area as officers cordoned off the route around the parade.
