Boosie Badazz Sues Over $600K Pardon That Never Came
Boosie Badazz is taking legal action after allegedly paying $600,000 for a presidential pardon that never came through, according to TMZ.
Citing a NOTUS report, the outlet says the rapper, legally Torence Hatch, struck a deal last fall with political operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, who claimed close access to President Trump. Boosie’s lawyer reportedly received a call on New Year’s Day claiming Trump had signed the pardon, though it was never announced or delivered.
Boosie is now seeking a $300,000 refund under a contract clause requiring partial repayment if no pardon materialised. Burkman denies any such agreement existed and says Boosie’s Texas arrest complicated the process. A White House official reportedly denied the duo had any role in the clemency process.
Boosie ultimately received time served on his federal gun case and has a separate pardon application pending directly with the White House.
