Tensions are rising after new satellite images revealed a major military build-up in China.
According to Metro, China is constructing what appears to be a vast network of nuclear-related infrastructure, including launch pads, bunkers, and communications facilities near its intercontinental missile silos in remote desert regions.
The images reportedly show more than 80 launch pads spread across multiple sites, along with fortified structures believed to support missile operations and command systems. Analysts say the scale of construction suggests a major expansion of China’s nuclear deterrence strategy.
While Beijing has not officially commented on the findings, experts believe the development could strengthen the country’s second-strike capability, ensuring it can respond even after a nuclear attack.
The report has sparked global concern amid already heightened geopolitical tensions, with observers closely watching China’s fast-growing military capabilities.
