US Senator John Fetterman has urged Israel to target Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and other members of the country’s leadership.
US Senator John Fetterman has called on Israel to target Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, along with other senior members of the country’s leadership. Speaking in a television interview, Fetterman said the world would be “better off” without the Iranian leadership following the death of former leader Ali Khamenei during the early days of the ongoing conflict.
The senator’s remarks come as Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared publicly since being appointed by Iran’s Assembly of Experts after his father’s death. Iranian officials say he was injured during the first wave of United States and Israel strikes, while his absence from public events has fueled speculation about his condition.
