Seven stolen dogs in China escaped suspected meat traders and trekked about 10 miles back home, reuniting with their families after a remarkable two-day journey.
Seven stolen dogs have become an online sensation after escaping from a suspected dog meat transport and trekking about 10 miles back to their village in Changchun.
The group—ranging from a tiny Pekingese to a large German Shepherd—was filmed navigating a busy highway in coordinated formation, with a Corgi reportedly leading the pack.
A witness who recorded the animals said, “They resemble a band of little brothers in distress, moving in unison – nothing like stray dogs.” Volunteers believe the dogs were stolen by meat traders before escaping a transport truck on March 16.
After a two-day journey across fields and roads, the animals returned home and were reunited with their families.
