New York artist Justin Gignac collected garbage from outside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding and sold it in sealed plastic cubes for $25 to $100 each.
Swift-Kelce Wedding Trash Sells for $100 a Cube
Someone’s trash is a Swiftie’s treasure. According to CBS News, NYC artist Justin Gignac suited up in a tuxedo on July 3 and combed the streets around Madison Square Garden for wedding debris — including a Ring Pop, a lone AirPod, and an ovulation test kit.
He sealed his finds into 50 airtight, odor-free cubes dubbed “Pocket Garbage,” selling smaller ones for $25 and larger cubes for $100. This year marks 25 years of Gignac turning discarded items into art.
Locals and tourists alike praised the hustle, with one calling it “New York vibes.” Gignac says he’d even make Swift and Kelce their own custom wedding cube if asked.
