Donald Trump says the Pentagon will soon release findings from its UFO study amid growing public and political interest in unexplained aerial phenomena.
US President Donald Trump has said initial findings from a Pentagon study on UFOs will be released “very, very soon.” Speaking at a rally in Phoenix, he told supporters, “We found many very interesting documents… and the first releases will begin very, very soon,” hinting at upcoming disclosures on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs).
Trump said he had discussed the matter with Defence officials and suggested strong public interest was driving the move. “It really captivates the mind, there’s no question about it,” he added, while encouraging the public to review the findings. Interest in UAPs has grown in recent years, with increased scrutiny from lawmakers and expanded investigations by the Department of Defense.
The announcement follows earlier commitments by Trump to release government files related to extraterrestrial life and unexplained aerial incidents. Legislative efforts, including transparency measures by Congress, have also pushed for wider disclosure as officials seek to better understand the phenomenon.
